Contact us about our next project.  THE MISSION Design a modern home that blends seamlessly with the eclectic nature of a mature neighborhood undergoing urban redevelopment. THE DESIGN CONCEPT Ridgelea house is designed around the central courtyard concept. All the major rooms, Living, Study, Kitchen, Nook, Master Suite and upper level rooms have a view to the courtyard area, thus making the outdoor entertainment another room in the house albeit outside.  THE INTERIOR The interior is zoned into three primary areas public,  private and sleeping.  Public areas - Entry, Formal Dining and Study are located in the front section of the home allowing the owners to great and entertaining without guest viewing more private spaces.  Private Family areas located in the mid portion of the home consist of an open Kitchen, Eating and Living areas Sleeping area which house the Master Suite are isolated in the rear of the home, far from view of the public and private areas allowing the area to be used as a retreat. The upper level is similarly zoned. An open sky-lighted stairwell pours in to a bookcase lined  landing area which acts as the hub of the upper level. Family Sleeping is located in towards the rear. A large Game Room with wet bar is situated in the center and a private Guest Suite is isolated in the front section.  The upper level is also designed to accommodate a future Isolated Media Area adjacent to the stair landing hub.
